AGRIALGAE

Differs from biostimulants obtained from seaweed (for example Ascophyllum and Kelp) mainly for 3 characteristics: origin, composition and quality:

• In fact, while macroalgae are collected on beaches and coasts, and therefore there is no control over their production, microalgae are grown in the latest generation of photobioreactors, in a 100% controlled environment. The result is a homogenous biochemical composition, unlike seaweeds that are also exposed to contamination and are very variable in content and quality.

• The final product of microalgae is superior in terms of richness of phytohormones, amino acids and other functional molecules, because the production process, less aggressive, keeps the properties of the raw material intact, without any environmental impact. On the contrary, seaweed often undergoes aggressive chemical processes that alter its characteristics and are often by-products of other industries, as well as having a significant impact on the marine ecosystem.
