Slow release fertiliser

Slow release fertilisers are used for plant nutrition.

They differ from those with immediate release due to the ability to gradually release nutrients, sometimes even in quite long times (from 3 to 14 months).

They can be both natural and chemical such as products based on ammonium magnesium phosphate and nitrogen.

Among the products in the catalog we have slow release fertilizers with different timing of release of nutrients that may vary depending on the type of soil or substrate to be treated and climatic conditions.

Sometimes the soil humidity or the acidity of the Ph can speed up the absorption process, so it is always good to ask our experts for advice to evaluate which is from time to time the best product according to the use that must be made.

 

Granulated fertilizers, wrapped fertilizers

Usually the most suitable shape is the one in granules, perfect for fertilizing potted plants.

Often it may be useful to resort to what are called wrapped fertilizers, that is, particular products in granules coated with several membranes, such as to postpone a part of the fertilization so as to have a low salinity in the first after the reservoir and released are after, in the moment of greatest need for the plant.

Each product has precise chemical characteristics, such as to make it perfect for treating a particular plant species in containers or for cultivation in the garden and garden, but also for turf.
